Bishop Shamana enters the era of blogs

April 12, 2007

Bishop Shamana is developing a new method of staying in touch with members of the Conference. You can add her name to the growing numbers of “bloggers” – persons who keep an online personal diary – sort of memos to the world.

“I’ve been wanting a way to create a more informal place to share my thoughts with the Conference family – different than the monthly column I write,” says the Bishop. “These short musings may be a way to share some of the issues that I find interesting and that might be of interest to others.”

Bishop Shamana says that while most blogs are appreciated for their daily entries – hers will be a little less frequent. But with the new technology of the recently updated website, you will soon be able to get an RSS feed (short for Really Simple Syndication) to your computer to stay up to date with the Bishop’s latest blog and other news. Look for your access to RSS in a few days!
