Angola Partnership Reception, Sept. 20
Celebrate our decade of ministry and support in partnership with our brothers and sisters in the United Methodist Church in Angola at the Angola Partnership Reception, Friday, September 20, 6-8 p.m. at the Cal-Nevada UM Center, 1276 Halyard Drive, West Sacramento, CA, 95691.
Our Angola mission partners, Dr. Felisberto Neto and Rev. Joao da Graca, will share their story of what the church is doing in Angola, their hopes and dreams for the future and answer any questions you may have. This is an opportunity to learn first-hand how our support is bearing fruit and about their role in the global fight to eliminate malaria.
Many have contributed to the purchase of a tractor that is now being used at the church agricultural school. Some have supported students at the University. Many have donated to the Bom Jesus clinic through the "Bridges of Love to Angola" campaign. And a few have visited Angola on a Volunteer in Mission trip.
This is an opportunity to learn how our ministry and support is truly making a difference in people's lives.
Come! Meet the new California-Nevada Imagine No Malaria Field Coordinator, Sasha Arjannikova. Visit the Cal-Nevada Imagine No Malaria website at http://www.calnevimagine.org to learn more.
