Messy Church Training

August 13, 2014

Begun in England in 2004, Messy Church is for families who find it hard to go to church on a Sunday. Messy Church provides an opportunity for people of all ages to worship together in a fun and creative way. The Rev. Nicole Reilley, Director of New Ministries of California-Pacific Annual Conference, will present how Messy Church provides an opportunity with new perspectives as an alternative worship. Novato UMC/North Marin Parish-hosting church- in the Bay Area adopted this new ministry in March 2014. The training will take place at Aldersgate UMC, 1 Wellbrock Heights, San Rafael, CA 94903 on Saturday, September 27, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Lunch and child care will be provided.
