Dr. Randall Miller Accepts Position with Arcus Foundation

Dr. Randall Miller, lay delegate to General Conference from the California-Nevada Conference, and member of Epworth UMC in Berkeley, has recently been named as Director of Global Religion Program for the Arcus Foundation. Miller has been serving as Assistant Professor at the Pacific School of Religion (PSR). In his role at PSR, he has been instrumental in forging a new relationship between PSR and the California-Nevada Conference focusing on innovative intercultural leadership, and creative expressions of Methodist polity, and theology for the Conference's diverse context. Miller’s position with Arcus Foundation will provide him with the opportunity to nurture the development of religious advocates and scholars who are passionately committed to LGBT acceptance and equality around the world. His new position will allow him to continue living and working part-time from his home in Oakland and maintain his ties to the annual conference.
