Prayers Needed

August 12, 2011: Our friend, Marv Tanner has been seriously injured in a backyard ladder fall and is undergoing surgery at a Stanford hospital.

He was tree trimming; put aside a chain saw, reached for a lopper hung on one of the ladder rungs and "was on the ground!" Seems he lost his balance. Amazingly, the ladder remained in the tree through all of this. The injury: broken pelvis bone and 3 injured vertebrae.

Luckily, Ina who had just turned away from picking up limbs, was out of line of the fall.

Our prayers go out for Marv and Ina. For updates, contact Phil Bandy at 916-374-1582.
