California Interfaith Power & Light: A faith based organization, established in 2001 by the Rev. Canon Sally G. Bingham, that is devoted to energy conservation, energy efficiency and renewable energy. Their ministry is to educate congregations on the theological basis for eco-stewardship and assist in the implementation of programs to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
California Preschool Energy Efficiency Program (CREEP): The California Preschool Energy Efficiency Program (CREEP) helps center-based childcare and preschool facilities in the Southern California Edison and Pacific Gas & Electric service areas be healthier, greener and save money on energy bills.
Earth Justice Ministries: A religious non-profit organization based in Nevada City, California. It is the recipient of 2009 Ecumenical Agency Grant funds administered by the Conference Board of Church and Society. Serveral United Methodist clergy are on the board, including Sharon Delgado, who is under appointment to Extension Ministry (ATEM) as the Executive Director.
