Keeping It Real: a general drop-in recovery circle, Sundays, 1-2:30 p.m.
Bridging the Gap: for Female 2 Male, Male to Female Transgenders, Gay, Lesbian, Bisexuals and Allies, seeking to break whatever addictions that prevent us from living into the fullness of our humanity, Thursdays, 6-7:30 p.m.

FDA Announcement on Enforcement Actions (Nov. 10, 2011)
The FDA has reached a new milestone in its ongoing efforts to protect kids from illegal tobacco sales. The FDA has conducted more than 27,500 inspections of tobacco retail establishments, and most retail establishments inspected by the FDA are complying with the law and helping protect kids from tobacco products. However, 1,200 Warning Letters have been issued to tobacco retailers who are not following the law.

Banning of Menthol in Tobacco Products
The City of Martinez, California Adopted a Resolution of Support for the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) banning of menthol in tobacco products on Sept. 7, 2011. Martinez is now the fourth Contra Costa jurisdiction, after the Board of Supervisors, Richmond and San Pablo, to adopt a Resolution of Support for FDA banning of menthol (also see Item 30 adopted by the 2011 CA-NV Annual Conference).
