Their description of The Journey for Adults:
We invite you to join us on the greatest journey of your life – The Journey of Knowing, Loving and Serving God – as we strive to become a community of deeply committed Christians. We know that sometimes getting started can be daunting, especially in such a large church, but we want to travel this journey with you. Our Adult Discipleship Ministry offers you a navigation system that provides directions, routes and traveling companions to support and encourage you along the way. We believe that nothing in the world will bring you greater joy, greater challenge and greater meaning than the journey into life as God intended us to live it.
Ginghamsburg United Methodist Church in Tipp City, Ohio, uses a discipling process they call Core3. They describe it this way:
If you are new or just getting started in "Ginghamsburg U," our adult education program, our recommendation is to start with our three foundational courses, called the Core3:
• A Follower's Life: understand key hallmarks of the Christian life according to scripture – plus become a church member at the conclusion if you wish
• Ministry By Strengths: connect with God's specific ministry dreams for your life through your strengths, life experiences, and faith
• Cellstart: learn all about cell groups, experience cell group community and get connected
