The 2012 Circuits List has been posted to the Conference website, www.cnumc.org.
To access it, click on "Directories," located under "Quick Links" on the right side of the Home Page, then select "Circuits & Districts" from the menu on the right.
Scroll down on the Circuits & Districts page and click on the link, "Download 2012 Circuits List."

Circuit Youth Rally Energizes Participants

Genesis United Methodist Church in San Jose hosted the quarterly youth rally for El Camino Real Circuit 8, this past Saturday (Feb. 4, 2012). Called "TRUTH," the rally was the second event of its kind – the first one having been hosted by Green Korean UMC in Milpitas, in November.
There were 100-plus youth in attendance, representing Genesis UMC, Green Korean UMC, St. Paul UMC and First UMC in Fremont, and Alum Rock UMC in San Jose.

'O for a Thousand Tongues' Combined Worship Service Was Aptly Named

It was an amazing event. Last Sunday (March 13), the first Sunday of Lent, eight congregations of the Silicon Valley Circuit – nicknamed the "Integrated Circuit" – conducted a combined worship service so huge that only a high school could accommodate it.
Leigh High School in San Jose did the honors. Bishop Warner H. Brown, Jr. preached, Dr. Marcia McFee designed and led worship, and the Spirit moved!

Two years ago "circuits" was an alien concept. Today, circuits not only are familiar, but they're doing amazing things – and serving as a model for other Conferences in The United Methodist Church. (The South Georgia Annual Conference, for instance, contacted California-Nevada when it began exploring ways for clergy and laity to connect within smaller geographic groups.)
