Observe 'Good Friday, Earth Day, and the Bomb' at Livermore, April 22
The Ecumenical Peace Institute, one of the groups the California-Nevada Annual Conference supports through ecumenical grants, is co-sponsoring, with Livermore Conversion Project, a Good Friday observance, "Good Friday, Earth Day, and the Bomb: The Cross in the Midst of Creation," early in the morning on Friday, April 22 at Livermore Nuclear Weapons Laboratory.
This year Good Friday and Earth Day coincide.

Carla DeSola, a teacher at the Pacific School of Religion in Berkeley and a nationally recognized teacher of liturgical dance, will lead the liturgical dance.
To take part, gather at Vasco and Patterson Pass Roads in Livermore, California at 6:45 a.m. on Friday, April 22 for opening music.
Worship will be at 7 a.m., followed by a procession to the gate and nonviolent acts of witness.
The event will be wheelchair accessible.
Afterward – from around 10 a.m. to noon – there will be a community gathering and time of sharing at 4743 East Avenue, Livermore. Light refreshments will be provided.
