Video Is Tool to Open Dialogue About Racism

2/26/2010

Strides have been made in the days since the Civil Rights Movement in the United States, but racial equality is still a work in progress. A short (2 min. 20 sec.) video from United Methodist Communications can be used as a tool to open a dialogue about racism in America.

A longer (16 min.) video that provides a basis for group discussion about racism and white privilege, co-produced by the General Commission on Christian Unity and Interreligious Concerns and the General Commission on Religion and Race, is available on YouTube in two parts. A leader's study guide also is available.
