The Cal Aggie Christian House at the University of California Davis is now hiring a new Community Coordinator

Cal Aggie Christian Association Campus Ministry (CA House), the progressive Christian ministry at the University of California, Davis is seeking outstanding candidates for the position of Community Coordinator. At CA House, students find a supportive community where they can feel free to engage in open discussion of questions of faith, vocation, and issues of social justice. Program development responsibilities include: oversight of the three student interns, coordinating the meal preparation for both Christian Worship and MLC weekly dinner, developing, in collaboration with the Campus Minister and student interns, MLC weekly programs and community wide programs, and working with UC Davis Student Housing to offer programs in the residence halls.  Managing MLC housing entails: keeping all documents related to student housing update-to-date, recruiting new students to live in the MLC, and generally marketing of the MLC.

Candidates must have at least a bachelor’s degree and a year of post baccalaureate work experience, preferably in a position associated with one of CA House’s supporting denominations: the United Methodist Church, the Presbyterian Church (USA) and the United Church of Christ. Interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to facilitate small groups is a must. The ideal candidate will have:
