Labor Day Message

9/1/2017

Brothers and Sisters,

I am praying that all of you will have a blessed and restful Labor Day holiday.  Be safe and keep Mother Nature safe as well.

May we remember to pray together for all who labor, making the world a better place.  May we especially pray for those who labor in unsafe work sites, are paid unjust salaries, or are forced to work long hours and sometimes in several jobs to make ends meet.  Let us pray for those who will continue to labor while we rest.  May this Labor Day weekend restore our strength for the life of being agents of God’s justice.

Don’t forget to pray for those who will continue to labor while we rest.  Take time to thank people who will be laboring in behalf of the rest of us as you encounter them.

Blessings,

Bishop Minerva G. Carcaño
