United Methodist Information Technology Association (UMITA)

The United Methodist Information Technology Association (UMITA) provides professional networking, resources, and knowledge to empower its members to provide technological leadership in the mission, ministry, and administration of the church.

Membership in UMITA is open to annual conferences, local churches, provisional conferences, central conferences, missionary conferences, jurisdictional conferences or general boards or agencies.

The annual UMITA membership fee is $100. UMITA dues are paid per organization, not per individual. The organization shall designate its voting representative at the time its dues are paid.

United Methodist Women

The Permanent Forum is one of three United Nations bodies that is mandated to deal specifically with indigenous peoples' issues. The others are the Expert Mechanism on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples and the Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights and fundamental freedoms of indigenous Peoples.

The Permanent Forum is an advisory body to the Economic and Social Council with a mandate to discuss indigenous issues related to economic and social development, culture, the environment, education, health and human rights.
